City Bee Savers has been a wonderful friend to We Grow Dreams through the years, they even keep some hives on our property during the nicer parts of the year.  Here’s some information about the great work that they do to help our pollinator friends prosper to keep our gardens looking great!

Making Bee Buddy Queens

We were able to move our Bee Buddy hives to an isolated area next to the Allapotah Flats near Okeechobee Florida.  The following video shows how we raise new queens to begin the 2021 seasons. The hives will be moved back north in April where we’ll continue to raise new queens for the Bee Buddy hives.
