Team Members

Team Members are the whole reason why we are here! We love to provide opportunities to those who need it. Are you looking to become a team member here at We Grow Dreams? Are you in a high school special education or transition program, or out of school looking for meaningful job training and employment? Then contact us and schedule a meeting and tour to learn more about how we might be able to partner to make your life more rewarding!

Currently the monthly cost to become a team member is $175. Team members are expected to work 10 hours per month and are compensated at the state’s minimum wage. If you do the math, a team member gets most of this money back while they are working! The remainder of the cost goes to general office and greenhouse expenses. What do Team Members work on at the greenhouse?

On-Site Projects

Team members work together with job coaches to help with on-site projects throughout the year, there is always something to work on at the greenhouse! Making personalized bricks and sand cast leaves, and gardening projects are on-going as well as weather permits.

Special Events

Team members are welcome to help out at special events that we host at the greenhouse. We host holiday events as well as planting sales at peak times of year. We also participate in off site sales and fundraisers that we could always use some extra hands at.

Greenhouse

Depending on the time of year the greenhouse can be bustling with planting, weeding, building, and breaking things down. Activities change with the seasons and can include planting plugs, planting containers, developing landscape plans for the grounds, planting and maintaining gardens.
